We’re a small design studio in Stockholm, making physical products that are honest about how they work.

Our roots are in open source software. We’re applying the same principles here — sharing designs, code, and process so that what we make can be understood, built upon, and remade. It’s what we mean by “show your workings.”

We believe that things are best not only when they work, but also when you understand how they work. Black boxes prevent learning by looking.

Everything we make is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA licence. If you want to manufacture our design commercially get in touch - we’re open to that.

We sell finished products and build kits — because a recipe is no use without the ingredients.
